The elastic tubes are arranged for different strengths and depending on the resistance levels, color codes are given. Yellow color indicates light resistance. Green color signifies medium resistance. Red color stands for light heavy resistance. Blue color indicates heavy resistance. Black color shows extra heavy resistance.
For the upper body muscles, the system has to be used as follows – The door anchor may be placed on the top of a closable door or some other high height spot. A chair is kept in such a way that a seated person would have either his face or back facing the door. Then, the handles have to be held and pulled downwards either to the front or side or behind the head. This stretch is good for upper arm muscles. Another method is to remove the door anchor, stand straight and place the center of the elastic band below the feet. If the handles are stretched to the front and sides, the workout of barbell weights is experienced.
Another way is to be in a push-up position and wrap the elastic band around the shoulders. Hold the handles in the hand for extra resistance. As body weight also works, there is a better arm muscle workout than the traditional bench press.
