The Freshman 15 or sometimes known as the Freshmen 15, is the phenomenon where after the first year of college, most people tend to gain the "15" pounds. But why Freshman? It's because it tends to affect students their first year away from home. Suddenly they can eat whatever, whenever and however they want. Then you add in the studying and non-healthy activities, you'll tend to gain some weight as a result.
